One of the most frequently used topics in mystical texts is the attitude towards the human physical body. The aim of the present study is to provide a relative answer to this question what view did mystics have about the body? Has the mystic's body strayed from its physical aspect and it has a metaphysical aspect? Or is it simply a metaphorical matter by some authoritative writers to exaggeratedly represent mystical and historical figures? The text under investigation is the Tazkirat al-Awliya of Attar Neyshaburi and the chosen model is "Fairclough's Critical Discourse Analysis". Accordingly, the central core of this research will be the three layers of description, interpretation, and explanation. In the first , this research, by studying various Tazkirah anecdotes, analyzes the sub-categories of all three layers (experiential, relational, expressive values, apparent, semantic, local and overall coherence, social determinants, ideology, and effects).In the second , the mystic's confrontation with her body is analyzed at two levels: A: conscious harm to the body and B: the dignity characteristics of the body. Research findings show the body that introduces the text to society, it is supernatural and change to the universe; both in the literal and metaphorical dimension, both based on historical documents and allegories. Accordingly, from Attar's perspective, the mystic's body has a different function than the body of ordinary people. Because her goal is to show the connection of the mystic's body to the truth in line with her spiritual connection.
